Jacob Rosenzweig-Stein

 

Analyst

Jacob spent the spring of 2022 as Council Fire intern and is thrilled to be an inaugural member of Council Fire’s Future Leaders Program. He is passionate about succinct science communications and sustainable solutions that benefit all stakeholders with the end goal of creating holistic change.

Jacob majored in Environmental Studies with a minor in Philosophy at St. Mary’s College of Maryland where he worked on several sustainability-focused projects. These projects included winning the 5th Annual Sustainable Growth Challenge and creating an innovative, free bike share program on campus for his senior thesis. Since graduating, Jacob has worked on an environmental documentary(“Grounded”) and served with the Citizens Climate Lobby as a Liaison for Maryland District 5, Congressman Steny Hoyer’s District. 

In his free time, Jacob enjoys swimming, running, biking, and staying active. He is also a swim coach with Machine Aquatics at the University of Maryland and has been accepted into the Bard graduate program to pursue an MBA in Sustainability in fall of 2023.
