Join our next cohort of FLP members supporting the ground-breaking efforts of our clients. We recognize the high barriers to entry in the sustainability field and created this program to open a critical career pathway for diverse candidates and those historically underrepresented in the sustainability arena.

Engage, learn, network, develop and use your skills as a force for good at this critical moment in history. Gain practical experience in the sustainability field while helping implement our theory of change combining sustainability, collaboration, and storytelling.

Program Details:

This program is fully remote and selection is highly competitive. Candidates are chosen on a rolling basis and participation is limited to a maximum of two years. FLP Members are paid as independent contractors when selected for client projects and are provided other enrichment activities as members of our team. Given the episodic and part-time nature of the work, members retain the flexibility to have another job or pursue educational opportunities while simultaneously engaging in the FLP.

 

Thank you for your application! We are very excited about your interest in Council Fire's Future Leader Program! While a newer program, the FLP has proven extremely popular and we are currently at capacity. However, participants cycle out on a rolling basis (and we're also working hard to grow the program to provide even more slots!).  As such, we continuously accept and retain applications, and, while it may take a bit of time before the next opening emerges, we will follow up when it does.
