Jessica Landman

Based in Washington, DC, Jessica brings extensive and broad-based natural resources and oceans conservation expertise to the Council Fire team.

Jessica has spent over 30 years working as an environmental lawyer and advocate in the US and Europe, developing extensive expertise in water quality, marine conservation and fisheries matters. She has participated in all aspects of the US and European policy and legislative process, and held senior positions in a number of conservation organizations, including the Environmental Defense Fund, WWF’s European Policy Office in Brussels, the Natural Resources Defense Council and SeaWeb. She has also led and facilitated numerous networks and coalitions designed to amplify the voices of citizens in conservation decision-making. Before joining the ranks of the nonprofit world Jessica worked on Capitol Hill and for a Federal agency, providing her with the opportunity to experience the policy-making process from a government perspective.
