Based in Washington, DC, Bill's career has covered the full breadth of environmental matters and he has played key roles in the development and execution of numerous environmental protection programs in the United States.
Bill has 40+ years of environmental experience ranging from large-scale conservation program management to Oceans governance issues. Dating back to the 1980s, he played a key role in the creation of the Chesapeake Bay Program here in our region. He also served as Massachusetts' Undersecretary of Environmental Affairs - one of many positions held during his twenty years of public service. More recently, Bill spearheaded the World Wildlife Fund’s Marine Conservation program in the United States.
